My dad has this statue in his garden, right next to the door that everyone goes through to get into our house. So funny!

Meet Merl. He is the western squirrel I met in Estes Park, if he wasn't $270 I would have Merl on my nightstand.

Feather Weave

One of my main homies, Amanda T. is a fabulous stylist and super hip and fashionable. So, when she showed up at volleyball a couple of weeks ago with a feather weave, I knew I had to have one.

All I had to do was show up at her house with a pliers and she'd provide everything else...I forgot the pliers....

In Lieu of pliers, she used a hammer (see pix above and below)

Her hands were sweating as she hammered inches from my skull, but it's what you have to do to be super hip and cool.

At the end of the night I had a little bit of plumage for all to see. More pix to come. I'm now officially obsessed with these feathers in my hair.

Wall Calendar

I found this wall calendar scarf here, at Design3000, the best little design shop out of Germany

I don't hang a wall calendar in my house as I can rarely find one that I like, but I like this guy, what an interesting concept; just keep pulling until 2012.
